Pinky & Stinky

Credits: Written and Illustrated by James Kochalka
Publisher: Top Shelf

Commentary

Pinky and Stinky are two piglets on a mission to Pluto. Along the way, an asteroid hits their spacecraft and they're forced to crash land...

...on the moon!

But the human astronauts from the moon base really don't like piglets: "Some people don't take piglets very seriously just because we're so little or because we're cute and fat." Maybe Pinky and Stinky will have better luck with the aliens secretly living beneath the moon's surface...

James Kochalka, a cartoonist in the truest sense of the word, is able to transport us to times and places with the gentlest stroke of his brush. This book is no exception and can be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone capable of stringing two words together.

Oh, lord, Pinky and Stinky make me six years old again.
