Imagine a story about Betty and Veronica as strippers. Imagine that your kinky Riverdale rollick was written in the Magical Realism style of, say, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, only, you know, DIRTY. Throw in a little Whitley Streiber (alien abductions), but temper him with a Richard Bach-like "We Are All One" philosophy. Include a scene in which dinosaurs do it doggie-style and be sure that whenever anybody gets busy the resultant ejaculate is copious enough to have come from the rain gutters on Noah's Ark during the Great Flood. Now have Gilbert Hernandez draw it and throw in a lisping nymphomaniac psychotherapist character for good measure. Voila: BIRDLAND!
If I have to tell you any more to make you buy this book you have no glands.
