Barbie doesn't dream. Or, Barbie doesn't dream anymore. When she was younger, before things went bad, she dreamt the same dream every night. It wasn't exactly the same dream; not the same sequence of events occurring in repetition. Rather, it was as though all of her dream-time comprised a book and every bedtime began a different chapter, as though Night and Day shared custody of their girl. When Barbie stopped dreaming, night life went on without her. Now, the Cuckoo is killing off her dream friends and horrible birds carrying night-terrors are invading the dreams of Wanda and Thessaly and the rest of the girls in the house. In order to sort this out, Thessaly will call down the moon, George will lose face and Barbie will have to dream again.
Alice in Wonderland meets Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and The Wizard of Oz, as directed by Joseph Campbell, A GAME OF YOU is what your favorite bedtime story grew up to be.
